I recently stumbled upon the following youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkCuc34hvD4. The video is titled "What if God Disappeared" and it points out that it is ridiculous to think that the world needs a God in order to act morally. This led me to ponder the world and I had a Vonnegut-inspired thought: what would the world be like if everyone in the world had their minds erased and then everyone started with proposition "just be kind". Would there be religion? Would a world with less evil in it be boring? I thought this could possibly make for an interesting story, so I thought I would pass along the idea and get your thoughts.
